Volker Laprell trained as a joiner, architect and interior designer and is now working in this business for international companies. In 1992 he created in collaboration with Thomas Althaus the office furniture system »Online« for Rosenthal, which enables a common design language for the whole office environment because of its clear-cut structures and large field of application. The second generation of »Online« provided a modern up-date of this successful product range in 1997.
