Lino Sabattini is the great Italian master of silver-design. His objects for daily use are characterised by grand elegance and clear-cut modernism. They are useful and at the same time independent, full of tension and soothing, full of harmony and solid, appropriate and impressive such as everything in nature.
Sabattini has been working for Rosenthal since 1985. His cutlery ranges »Dialog« and »Sculptura« issued by Rosenthal studio-line are classics of the avantgarde. His immortalisation in porcelain did he gain through »Gemini«, »Pinguino« or »Tasca«.
