Claire Weiss is probable the best-known Hungarian sculptress of the 20th century. Her huge sculptures adorn many public places. Amongst her clients are Hutschenreuther, Fr. Goldscheider, Bing & Grøndahl. Weiss had been working for Rosenthal from 1932 to 1933. In this rather short period she created more than 20 figurines, i.a. »Orientalische Tänzerin«, »Fächertanz«, »Libellentanz«.
