Thomas Althaus is an interior decorator and furniture designer. Unlike many of his colleagues, his work includes the whole complex area of furniture design: tables, chairs, beds and upholstery, closets and office furniture. He takes his inspiration from the abundance of colours and materials and translates them into interesting clusters. His customers include de Sede, Ress + Sohn, Ruf, WK. In 1992, Althaus created the office furniture system »Online« for Rosenthal in cooperation with Volker Laprell which allows through its wide operational spectrum and clear structure to design the office ambiente in one common design language.
