Paul Scheurich was a painter, sculptor, graphic designer, illustrator and stage designer. Undoubtedly he is one of the most important porcelain sculptors in the first half of the 20th century. Amongst his clients were KPM, Nymphenburg, Meißen.
Professor Scheurich created several figurines e.g. the »Pferd« for the brand Hutschenreuther, which had been acquired by Rosenthal in 2000.
