Dr. Borek Šípek is an internationally known industrial designer and architect and one of the leading glass-making artists of the 21st century. Amongst his international clientele are Driade, Leitner, Sévres, Swarovski, Vitra. In 1992 he won the contract for reconstructing the Castle in Prague.
Šípek has been working for Rosenthal since 2003. He created the collection »Glass Art« for Rosenthal studio-line and some objects for the Rosenthal limited edition.
