Sami Wirkkala is an interior designer and industrial designer. His style is characterised by scarce use of ornaments.
Wirkkala has been working for Rosenthal since 1978. For Rosenthal studio-line he created e.g. the series of ceramics »Tampere« and »Fresco«.
