In his works Igor Kopystiansky refers to objective theme worlds from art history, mainly of the avantgarde of the 20s. He takes their characteristic iconography, places it into a new context, and creates a conceptual dialogue in this way.
In 1993 Kopystiansky created the artist tea pot »Teekanne« (99 pieces) for the Rosenthal limited art edition.
