Hans Achziger was a member of the German "Werkbund" und one of the most influential porcelain modellers in the 20th century. He was the director of the arts department at Hutschenreuther AG from 1961-1964, later on he headed the form studio.
He created dinner services and a large number of exceptional animal sculptures for the brand Hutschenreuther which was acquired by Rosenthal in 2000, among others »Übermut (2 dappled horses)«, »Windhundgruppe (Whippet)«, »Abstreichende Schwäne« and »Auffliegender Reiher«. |
