David Queensberry, GBR

* 1929

Lord David Queensberry is a designer, who puts body and soul in ceramics. After having worked for Wedgwood as a technician, he opens his own business and, in 1966,  becomes associate in the Queensberry-Hunt-Design-Group. " We think that there need not be a contradiction  between high quality design and mass production."
Queensbury and his partner Martin Hunt have been working for Rosenthal since 1979. They created e.g. the shapes »Trend« (with Robin Levien) and »Loft« for the brand Thomas.
